The Process

1. Let's Have a Chat!

Congratulations! You’re engaged, now what? Contact us to set up a consultation! We’ll chat about what you have in mind - from details to design and quantity. This can be done over the phone, email, or in person if you're in Launceston - up to you!

2. Pricing Proposal

After our consultation, we'll send you a pricing proposal, outlining the different items we've discussed. 

3. Approval

Once you've looked over the pricing proposal you can request further changes or move forward by getting started on your stationery! 

4. Project Agreement 

After approving the pricing proposal, an invoice will be sent with your balance. We require a non-refundable 50% design retainer fee to begin the design process.

5. Design!

Choosing and designing your wedding stationery is a super exciting process! Your stationery will set the mood and introduce your guests to your wedding style.

Blossie Collection

At Blossie we have beautifully designed wedding suites to suit every style - including classic, floral, playful, minimalist, destination and more. These are all fully customisable - I can change fonts and colours to suit your wedding theme. This process takes about two weeks and printing + shipping time.

Bespoke Design

We offer completely custom design too. Work with me to create your ultimate dream stationery. I design your creative vision - illustrations, hand-lettering... you name it - I do it.  This process currently takes four-seven weeks (really dependant on scope of elements), and printing + shipping time. Please note that when it's prior to wedding season (August-December) is usually when I'm busiest and this may take a little longer. 

Based on your design brief, I will send you a series of design wedding concepts - starting with the invitation. You can then provide any amendments. Once you've chosen the style you like I'll implement similarities into other parts of wedding stationery - RSVP, Details Card, etc. You will then have the chance to provide any amendments and sign them off for printing. 

6. Review

After you've reviewed all pieces of stationery and final edits have been submitted, you will be asked to give your final stamp of approval. I recommend proof reading twice, and getting someone else to as well - as I can miss things! Once this is done, we can commence with printing - yay! It's at this stage I require the additional 50% of the balance. 

7. Printing, Production & Shipping 

We use printeries around Australia. For digital printing, the printing process takes approximately 3 days from when the order is placed. For foil and letterpress, the printing process takes approximately 7-10 days. Shipping Australia wide then takes an additional 7-14 days approximately. 

8. Completion & Celebration

Each piece of Stationery is carefully checked at the printery in Perth. A sample is also sent to Blossie to ensure quality. You will receive an email or phone call letting you know that your stationery is on the way to you - yipee! 

Once you've received your stationery it's time to celebrate! Pop a bottle of champagne and deliver them out to your friends and family.

My brides can typically expect to spend around $1500 AUD for 100 custom wedding invitation suites (invitations, envelopes, RSVP, RSVP envelope, details card and main envelope). Pricing depends on quantity and additional pieces such as wax seals, belly bands, ribbon, envelope liners.
