There’s just something extra special about saying I do as the clock strikes midnight — and Mikayla and Andrew’s New Year’s Eve wedding was the perfect blend of romance, style, and celebration. Held at the breathtaking Ryhanna Park, their day was pure magic from beginning to end.
We began their stationery story with custom invitations featuring a hand-drawn illustration of their stunning venue — a personal and whimsical touch that set the tone for the day. This sweet sketch later made another appearance on their soft satin welcome sign, which glowed in the most delicate shade of light blue.
From there, every detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect Mikayla and Andrew’s elegant style. Their oval-shaped menus, adorned with flowing calligraphy and finished with tiny satin bows, brought a soft romantic flair to each place setting.
One of my favourite personal touches? Their custom bar sign starring their pup Jimmy! Light blue satin, it was not only adorable but a fun nod to their little family.
Guests were welcomed into the marquee by a tall, freestanding seating chart, designed with a sleek arched silhouette that tied in perfectly with their arch-shaped table numbers. This visual consistency created a beautifully cohesive look, guiding guests through the space with ease and elegance.
And then… the florals. Wow. Think wicker baskets overflowing with hydrangeas and roses, spilling soft blooms in creamy whites and pale blues throughout the marquee. The entire space felt like a midsummer garden — fresh, romantic, and just a little bit whimsical.
