From the moment I first chatted with Amy and Brayden, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. These two are full of personality, creativity and heart — and they brought all of that (plus their adorable pup Mac!) to their unforgettable wedding day at Lowe Family Wine Co. in beautiful Mudgee.

Amy and Brayden had a clear vision for a day that reflected their style — playful, a little kitschy, and completely unique. One of the standout details? Each table was themed around one of their favourite comedians, and they even commissioned a UK-based artist they loved to create bespoke illustrations of each one. While I don’t usually work with external artwork, this just worked. The illustrations were the perfect personal touch, and it was such a joy to weave them into the design of their signage and stationery.
To tie it all together, I added watercolour borders to the menus in different colours to match each comedian’s vibe — a subtle but super fun way to carry the theme through each table setting. It was vibrant, joyful and 100% true to them.
We leaned into their love for quirky details with a styling approach that felt curated but not too polished – including the cutest custom illustration of their dog Watson, proudly featured on their bar signage. Honestly, these are the kinds of details that make a wedding feel personal and full of heart.
